From the cricket pitch to the clinic.
I’m a biokineticist with a passion for movement, rehabilitation, and helping people feel their best. My journey started with a degree in Sport Science, followed by an Honours in Biokinetics from the University of Pretoria. During my time at university, I played for the Tuks 1st cricket team. An experience that shaped my appreciation for the connection between performance, injury prevention, and recovery.
This blend of academic and athletic experience inspired me to start my own practice. Nexus Physical Rehab.
Outside the clinic, I’m also a CrossFit coach and enjoy supporting others in reaching their fitness goals. You’ll usually find me outdoors (ideally barefoot), soaking up some sunshine and staying grounded.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, looking to improve movement, or simply want to move better in your everyday life, I’m here to help you do just that. Safely, effectively, and with a plan that works for your body.
Why Nexus exists.
Most of us don’t have a personal physio, biokineticist and strength coach on speed dial. So when we get hurt, or just notice ourselves slowing down, we either try to push through it, or we stop completely. Both options leave you worse off.
Nexus exists for the in-between. The people who want to recover properly the first time. The athletes who refuse to settle for “good enough” rehab. The everyday active people who want to keep doing what they love for another forty years.
Whether that is a knee that won’t stop clicking, a shoulder that aches every Monday, or a deadlift PR you can’t quite hit. We have a plan for it.
